Thrifty Swerve v1.1 - 1 Module Kit

Thrifty Swerve v1.1 includes the following improvements:
- Lightened motor plate, lightened wheel saddle, lightened 21t steel gear - overall module weight as shown in updated image: 4.21 lbs
- Ability to use the Ultraplanetary Upgrade Kit that will allow teams to use the REV Ultraplanetary gearbox for their azimuth. All Thrifty Swerve modules produced will work with this upgrade including customers with modules in-hand already.
- Improved tolerances on certain features from user feedback.
- Version 1.1 CAD Module found here
Thrifty Swerve was designed with the mid-level FRC team in mind providing top-level performance at an affordable price. Achieve instantaneous omni-directional movement around the field with unparalleled maneuverability and traction. Highlights of this module include:
- Achieve free speeds of 14.2 ft/s using REV NEO motors or 15.9 ft/s using VEX Falcon 500 motors
- Lightweight, robust design utilizing a combination of metal and Markforged Onyx 3D printed parts.
- Includes all mechanical parts and hardware needed to assemble a functional module.
- Items that teams need to bring to each module are - 1 brushless drive motor (REV NEO or VEX Falcon 500), 1 versaplanetary gearbox with 8mm keyed output and a 550 series motor input , 1 CTRE magnetic encoder & the corresponding motor controllers.
- Designed to integrate easily with a standard 2" x 1" box tubing chassis
- 3D Print at Home kit also available for teams who have access to high end 3D printing.
